Pantene Hair Fall Shampoo - A Review

Recently I tried out P&G's Pantene Pro V Hair Fall Control Shampoo. I am not a sucker for shampoos but then I wouldn't mind trying a few at this point of time. Now that I have a relatively short hair, I can take risks. I dare not take risks with my long hair! This is what their site says about the product.
It is a fact that we lose an average of 50 to 100 strands of hair per day. The hair cycle aside, breakage due to weakened hair strands is also a contributing factor for hair fall. Combing, chemical treatments and exposure to urban pollution, among others, can cause hair cuticles, the natural protective layer of the hair, to be damaged. This weakens hair and increases its risk of breakage, which could occur anywhere along the hair shaft, from the roots to the tips. Pantene Hair Fall Control is thus designed to strengthen hair from the root to tips. Within 14 days, this regimen gives you stronger hair and noticeably less hair fall due to breakage – up to 98 per cent less compared to using a non-conditioning shampoo. The secret to this is the precision blended Pro-Vitamin formula, which is water-activated so that the risk of washing your hair where hair fall due to breakage occurs the most is minimized.
STEP 1: Pantene Hair Fall Control Shampoo is your first step to strong, healthy hair from root to tip. It is designed to gently remove impurities and protect hair from breakage.
STEP 2: Use Pantene Hair Fall Control Conditioner after shampooing, to fortify hair against breakage.
STEP 3: Providing daily deep strengthening and replenishment for brittle damaged hair is Pantene Daily Hair Fall Control Treatment. Replace your conditioner with this if you have chronic hair fall that needs regular care, or use it once a week on top of your regular conditioner for an extra boost of strengthening protection
Being in a metro city in India, I hair is very much attacked by pollution, heat, humidity and sun! So, the product did sound apt for me!!

Pantene Pro V Hair Fall Control Shampoo was white in color and had this very pleasant smell, which I totally loved. It lathered a lot compared to other shampoos.
I should use it for a longer time and along with the conditioner to give you an honest opinion about how good is it in actually preventing hairfall.
But I used it just once and my hair felt much softer. Even without a serum, my hair fell in place, just straight, without tangles! Isn't that a surprise!! Loved it totally and wouldn't be scared to use it on my long hair also!!!!!

The product was sent by the company, however the opinions are of my own experience and are this post does not to advertise the product.

  1. I think Loreal Fall Repair 3X is pretty awesome too! I've been using it since the last 2.5 months and it's really doing wonders!
