Navrathri Look - Indo Western with Limeroad

If you're a reader of my other blog, you'd know the specialty of Navarathri in my part of the world. If not check it out here, here & here. Ideally I should wear something very ethnic all 9 days, but then what's the fun in it. So on one of the nine days I decided to quirk it up...
I decided to wear a metallic golden maxi skirt and wear it with a red tee, to begin with and then accessorized it as quirky as possible, fusing Indian & Western influences to create an Ethnic yet a Contemporary look. The main color combo was golden & red, so my lips too went red!

I spotted these lovely footwear and bag at Limeroad.com. The footwear is mostly red with a hint of leopard print & black, made of faux patent leather i.e. PU, with lovely little kitten heels. The bag is canvas. The only disadvantage is it would have been perfect if it had a zipper closure too.
Indo Western fusion would be complete only if I wear purely Indian jewelry, right?!! What's more Indian than Temple Jewelry???!!!!! I've already worn these jewelry here and yeah, they belong to my mom. That hair accessory, is my own piece of work, made with zardozi hand embroidery at the centre.
 Tee: Inkfruit
Skirt: Bhushavali
