Re-wearing my Wedding Gown!

My last post and prev post were on the Fashioning a Reign event at Buckingham Palace. When going to The Buckingham Palace what does one wear, that too when going for a major fashion event to look the outfits worn by the Queen???!!!! I was sitting in front of my wardrobe and shortlisted 2 of my outfits - this one and my wedding gown's skirt
Come on, its a palace where I was upto. I wanted to look like a errrmmmm..... princess!!! So finally decided to go ahead with my wedding gown's skirt but style it in a different way! Wanted to add some color in it, so I chose to wear my plain blue tee with it and team it with golden & white jewelry & accessories. To match the outfit, I chose jewel toned blue eye makeup! What do you think?

Top: Inkfruit
Skirt: Bhushavali
Shoes: Primark
Necklace: Received as gift
Earrings: Sareez (same as worn here)
Hair accessory: Bhushavali

I think its a hit coz quite a few visitors at the palace said I looked great and 2 said I looked like a princess!!! Mission accomplished!!!

And once again my last post (thanks to HM The Queen), has been picked in the weekly picks of Independent Fashion Bloggers.

  3. Your wedding gown skirt looked good with the blue shirt you have. It somehow created this contrast of elegant and modern type of fashion in my eyes.

  6. I love the choice of accessories PLUS that shade of blue definitely looks great on you. I have tons of blue items in my closet but one thing that I can't quite wear is blue shadow - I rarely do. I usually stick to neutrals ( boo for me for that ).

  7. One benefit of getting a 2-piece wedding gown! You can re-use them! Just wondering if it is heavy? The skirt looks pretty heavy, from what I see.

  10. You are really a master of mix and match. This outfit looks very good and elegant as a combination. The skirt does not look too formal, as the blouse does not look informal.

  12. You look cute in it. Taking back the wedding gown brings back some warm memory of that period.
