Casual Date Style - Ikat Maxi Skirt

Recently a few of my friends managed to tag along our husbands on a day trip around Chennai. Where did we go? That's coming up soon on My Travelogue. But here's what I wore on the trip.

Its been long since I got a maxi skirt and when I found this fabric I knew this had to be my skirt. Its a a beautiful hand woven Ikat fabric made by weavers of Andhra Pradesh. I also found this perfect border with the same color combo as the Ikat with added sequins...
But the best part was finding these perfectly matching footwear at a flea market in Chennai....
Top: Inkfruit
Skirt: Bhushavali
Footwear: Thrifted from a Flea Market in Chennai
Necklace: Handmade by artisans of Himachal Pradesh
