Suddenly it occurred to me that I've never featured any of my hand fans on this blog!!! Yes, you read it right. My part of the world, is very hot, humid and sultry almost for 11 months a year. So I have few foldable hand fans. I carry them always in my handbag. You know, its stylish and makes more sense than waving some notebook or newspaper for breeze! So here's one on this post and couple more in the posts coming up!
Btw, as I said in my last post, I've been collecting some good Indian ethnic wear. You saw 2 of my kurtis in the last 2 posts and here's the third.
I found this shimmery olive green, net fabric with color gradation and for sure I wanted a kurti out of it! What's the best way to show off the shimmery effect of the fabric? My answer would be to make a draped garment with it! So I made asymmetric gathers and used the color gradation part as it is on a part of front and entire back!
