One more of my thrifted outfits! But not the whole outfit, just the dress. As usual looking for new outfits that would help me through pregnancy and nursing, I found this at a flea market in Brussels. Guess for how much??? Believe me when I say I got it for €2, just two euros!!!

I love the print that it has! It has a huge circle in the centre that kinda perfect filled the football that my belly is, now!!! Lolz.... The bust is nice elastic that fitted me perfectly, plus this would be easy to nurse post delivery as well. To match with the circular print of the dress, I opted for the circular name necklace and white, red & blue circular earrings!

I bought that bag at Pipli itself! Remember my post on my vintage shrug here? Remember I told you that the work is handicraft done in the town of Pipli in Odisha in India? Recently I got a chance to visit Pipli and I bought this bag there! This bag isn't as much an intricate work as that shrug, but then its still a handicraft and I loved how spacious and colorful the bag is! Perfect to fit quite a few of my present needs including wallet, cellphone and even an FUD (aka pee funnels!), without which I don't venture out these days!!!

This time I found a cute off a cute shoulder dress, made of a nice, stretchable, knitted fabric that wrapped around my belly pretty well! The hairband is my good old one from IrresistibleMe! My mom got these earrings at a small, little thrift store in Chennai. When she gave it to me, I didn't even understand what I was seeing and when she said its a pair of earrings, I sill didn't understand how to wear it!!! The crystal ball in the back is removable to aid wearing it and I totally, totally love the look of it!!! How cute is that!!!!

Btw, the location is around Marollen Flea Market in Brussels, where I found so many interesting graffiti. Esp., the one with those faces is actually in front of a primary school, probably painted by the kids themselves, I dunno! But for my present look, with the bump, it fits perfectly, doesn't it??!!!

You've already seen me wearing this dress long back, here. This is a lovely Indian kurta, ideally worn with chudidhar or leggings. But then, I love its shape and length so much that I could actually wear it as a dress!!!

Right now, autumn has set in, in Belgium and dresses have to be worn with stocking to keep myself warm. I found this cute polka dots stockings in Primark and had to buy it!

I love the dress for more than one reason! The top part has this random floral applique work and with faux leather bits in golden color and swirls of multi colored georgette fabric. The lower part has large floral motifs made of devore print also called the burn out print, where the original fabric is a mix of rayon and polyester and printing it with acid makes the rayon to burn out and only the polyester stays wherever there's no print! So the reverse of the required floral design is printed!!!

The hair accessory is from my own line, Bhushavali Eco Fashions. Its hand embroidered with zardozi work by the craftspersons of Maharashtra and completely handmade. The earrings are a cute pair of Chaand Bali that I found at a thrift store. The top part of it has Goddess Mahalakshmi on it. I think it doesn't even look like a thrifted jewelry. Does it???

I found this shirt dress in the weekend market near Tournai Belfry. And you know my situation now. I'm hunting for outfits that would look cool, and serve the purpose of nursing, after my delivery. So shirtdresses are just such a blessing for this purpose! So yeah, I picked it!

Well, I'm not a big fan of baby pink. I do love hot pink and salmon pink, but definitely not a fan of baby pink. But that store had hardly didn't have any other color, so I just picked it! .........and now comes the trouble of wearing it! How can I pair it with something without looking girly or like a cotton candy!!!

Can I combine baby pink and grey? Why can't I? I've combined dusty rose and dark grey earlier and loved the combo, so I went ahead and did this. And guess, I dug out from my own jewelry box, this earrings that I bought, probably a decade ago in the same baby pink & grey combo!!!!

And btw, who says your accessories have to match??? As my regular readers may know I've recently moved to Belgium and obviously my entire wardrobe did not move with me. All my black pumps had heels and the preggers me decided to just leave them back!!! Somehow, the belt of the shirtdress, was a mix of black & white with a tan edging! So I went ahead and paired my black backpack with tan shoes.... Cardinal sin????

Ideally I would have paired this Little Red Dress / LRD with some elegant pieces of golden jewelry and n*de pumps. But then, I was on a trip that required a lot of walking, so I chose to pair it with my sneakers! It was slightly cold, so I had to wear my thermal stockings as well.

This is from my own line - Bhushavali Eco Fashion. The fabric is 100% Handloom Cotton. The most important feature of the outfit is ofcourse the neckline. Its all handmade as well! I made with a full front zipper, obviously because it would be very useful for nursing.

Since the sneakers have a pop of turquoise blue, I chose to accessorize with turquoise blue jewelry as well as an eyeliner with the same color. Since the dress has such an interesting neckline, I chose not to wear any bold on neck. Anyways I like the way this name necklace fell between the neck cutouts.

It was purely coincidence and by chance I got to be in Brussels, when the entire nation was in a celebratory mode with the National Day! If you've followed me on Facebook, you may have seen the pictures. If not, why not follow now atleast 😉!!! So yeah, I got to witness Belgian Airforce jets, army tanks and there was food, music and dance everywhere! So this is what I wore, while exploring it all!!

You've seen me wear it at Stonehenge, England and Amsterdam, Netherlands. This time I wore it in Brussels, Belgium! Earlier it was a bit difficult to pull off this dress, as the slightest paunch would show well with empire line cuts! But now, with my bump, this is perfect for me!

In Brussels, its almost impossible to spot a wall that doesn't have a graffiti on it! Its a blessing for bloggers & instagrammers I guess - provides stunning backgrounds!!! Also you'd know of the tiny little peeing man - Manneken Pis. Apart from him, there are several bronze sculptures in public! I spotted this one of a painter, accompanied by a monkey on his shoulder and a crow overseeing!!! I had to pose with him!!!

For the makeup, I chose to go with simple eyemakeup with Guerlain Terracotta Eyeshadow in Paradise Sand and bold lips with MAC Ruby Woo!!! Remember that name necklace by Onecklace that I wore on my Wedding Anniversary post?

Of late, I'm constantly looking for outfits that can be worn now and later after delivery, plus with front button-up or zipper, so I can nurse with it as well!

Shirt dresses fits the bill perfectly and I found one in linen that's so comfortable for the summers as well! I loved the color and the floral print on it. The best part - it comes with a draw string waist, so with my now gigantic waist and the later reduced waist, this still wouldn't look shapeless!

I loved the quality of the print on the dress! Its not digital print, but it has a beautiful watercolor effect! The color combo of green leaves and offwhite/purple flowers on grey background is very pleasing!!!

To pair with the offwhite/purple flowers, I chose the purple leggings and off-white shoes. To pair with the green leaves, I chose the green crystal Nadia Minkoff earrings & bracelet! I couldn't find the exact matching earrings and the hunt is still on.....

If you're from India you'll know what a ration saree is! During Pongal (that's the harvest festival of Tamil Nadu in India), the state government gifted all its citizens with a saree and dhoti (the traditional women's & men's wear of India) per household through Public Distribution Scheme. So we too got a saree in a gorgeous Mauve color. I don't have any outfit in this color, so I though of making a maxi skirt out of it!

First my idea was to just gather it at one side and make a simple gathered skirt. But then that would give me the maximum flare of 5m (length of saree minus its pallu). I thought why not make a 8-part gored skirt which ways I'd make the flare at the hemline about 6m! So that's what I did!

That's the seal of the State Govt with our logo and with the details that the product is a freebie and some codes etc. I thought that's too cute(!) to discard. So I made it as a little charm like thing that hangs near the side-seam. So how's that skirt??? Btw, remember this top? I wore it here & here. I chopped off its sleeve to make it a very short sleeve so its made sense to me, than an elbow length half sleeve! The purple applique work in it matched with the mauve skirt and yup, that made the pair!

The photographs were taken in 3 different locations. The first two are from a pre-historic iron age rock art site near Hampi at a place called Onake Kindi in Anegundi. The last 2 two pictures are from Vittalla Temple, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The others were clicked at Orange County Resort in Hampi.

I always loved the combo of red and blue. Honestly I've come across too many people that think the combo is miserable. Ever since Uni days whenever I tried to propose the color combo, I was always turned down! But then, over time I saw the same color combo ruling the ramp and the all over the pret scene!!!!

I had an amazing stay at this awesome resort called Orange County Resort in Hampi very recently and all the pics in this post were clicked in the resort. Infact the first pic of this post is from the infinity pool of the resort.

Being in Hampi, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, the whole resort has been built inspired by the Vijayanagara architecture and its all palatial! Apart from the Vijayanagara architecture, there's also a major Islamic influence in Hampi as it was also ruled by Bahmani Sultanate. Read more about the resort on My Travelogue!!
