Formal Look - Wine leather trousers & Ikat White Shirt

I've declared my love for faux leather & faux fur already here. Recently when I spotted this wine colored faux leather trousers, I had to get it and when on a date, here's how I styled it.

I actually wanted a dark, deep red like blood red, however the color was out of stock, so I went for this. The pants were comfortable to wear. Though its faux leather, it doesn't feel uncomfortable. It doesn't exactly absorb or wick moisture, but its ok. The pants have some unique features - the fly is on the side instead of front which lends to better shape around the hips and there is zipper detail at the ankles which make the fitting perfect!

I styled it with my crisp white shirt made with handloom ikat fabric, black handbag & black shoes. The bag is combo of faux leather with faux suede. Its a typical tote bag with a magnetic button atop. Though it has a zipper within to keep important stuff, I'd any day prefer a complete zipper to protect all the contents of the bag.
The shoes are interesting too. The snake skin like pattern with alternating glossy and suede finishes. Btw, yeah, the location looks great right? More about it coming soon on My Travelogue. Have you bought anything at Bonprix? let me know in the comments!!!

    I love how you paired the wine leather trousers with the white top because white makes the wine color stand out more. Anyway, I'm used to calling that shade of red "burgundy." :)

    Love the whole ensemble - it looks comfy but still chic and it's perfect for afternoon mall trips and even for traveling. You totally rocked those trousers. I don't think I can carry them well. Lol.
