Diwali Outfit - Embroidered Khadi Top & Shimmer Maxi Skirt

You saw the version 1 of my Diwali outfit in the last post... Here comes version 2...





Top: Bhushavali (made of Khadi [handspun handloom] fabric

The top I designed, is very special and is hand embroidered with sequins, zari, metals etc. Its a traditional hand work called Zardozi, done is certain parts of India including Jammu & Kashmir, Uttar Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, Maharashtra. This piece was hand embroidered at Agra in Uttar Pradesh, by Mohammad Bilal, a Living Legend as accredited by World Craft Council...
Coming back with 3rd version of my Diwali outfit! Wait n watch!!!
