Diwali Outfit - Shimmer Tunic, Maxi Skirt & Handmade Jewelry

2 days back was Diwali in my part of the world, here in India. Diwali or Deepavali is a festival of lights and sound and its the biggest festival here, similar to what Christmas is to the west!!!
So, what did I wear and why does my title say 'version 1'??? Well, as such I made a few and bought a few separates and mixed and matched them in assorted ways! So here's version 1 of mixing and matching!!!

Top: Bhushavali
Skirt: Bhushavali
Main Earrings: From a Street Shop in Chennai
Sec. Earrings: Tanishq
Watch: Titan Raga
Bracelet: c/o Castellamare Designs
Ring: Raja Ravi Verma Collection of Sayuri
Nail polish: Street Wear in shade Gold Spark

Well, I wanted a shimmery gold top like that one and when I saw this fabric as a 'stole', I knew that was gonna be my top. The fringed edging of the stole became the hemline!!! The soft gold skirt again is by me - a huuuuuge skirt with diagonal pin tucks all over and applique of assorted colored fabrics at the border!!!
The dainty bracelet was a gift by Castellamare Designs and I've told you about it already here. I bought this ring from an up-cycling project of Sayuri Jewels, made of key-ring filled with turmeric resin. The painting inside is titled 'There comes Papa', where a mother holding a child tells 'there comes papa' pointing to dad, all clad in traditional Kerala outfit, painted by the celebrated Indian artist Raja Ravi Verma.... See more of Raja Ravi Verma collection of Sayuri, here!
Coming back soon with version 2 where the skirt remains the same!!! What's the top??? Wait n watch!!!!
