No Makeup Look with Mineral Hygienics - II
You've already seen a FOTD post of mine with Mineral Hygienics products. Also my wedding makeup (Ceremony & Reception) was a DIY with Mineral Hygienics foundation, bronzer and finishing powder. I've fallen in love so much with the Mineral Hygienics products that its my Holy Grail Foundation now!!!
So far I've only used Skin products and no eye or lip products of this brand. So here's an review and FOTD with their eyeliner and lippies too! Before going into it, forgive me for the unkempt eyebrows....
The foundation is the same as I used before. Its in the shade of Medium Golden. It comes in a plastic jar with screw lid atop with sifter cap. You would have seen their kabuki brush in my earlier post and the application with it is so even and perfect.
I've actually been suffering for quite some time now. Summer was way too harsh in my part of the world and humid too. My skin was almost completely broken up. It was literally scaly with heat. If you look closely to my face you might still see the texture. But this foundation works magic. Its in a mineral powder form and with that kabuki brush, it fills into every nook and corner of the skin's texture and makes the skin look so smooth and perfect!!! That's exactly why I call it my holy grail of foundation...
The eyeliner is called the 'Indelible Eyes - Waterproof automatic pencil'. Its available in 7 shades and I got the shade of Raven which is almost pitch black. Its a twister pencil very similar to Lakme 9 to 5 or L'Oreal. One end is the eyeliner stick and the other end has a sponge, in case you wanna create a smokey look!
Waterproof??? Hell yeah!!!! See the 2nd pic above. That's after splashing water and trying to rub off my eyeliner, but it almost hasn't budged. Its got a bit uneven, but no where near wearing off!!!!
Those are the lippies called 'Pure Lips'. The first shade is Citrine and 2nd is Magma. Citrine is a beautiful metallic bronze shade. On lips it gets nearly translucent and leaves a gorgeous metallic shimmer with a hint of sparkle as well. Magma is very beautiful pink with a hint of sparkle. I'd say its a n*de pink. They are little of just 4gm packs. Only little trouble is that, I wouldn't say they are very moisturizing. I wore it with my lipbalm beneath. But that's ok I guess, I totally love the colors. They're just too perfect for everyday wear with those colors and also parties with a hint of shimmer!!!
P.S: The product was gifted by the company for reviewing purpose, however the opinions are of my own experience and are this post does not to advertise the product. Check out their products at their website - www.mineralhygienics.com
