Salmon Pink Lace Dress with Blue Jewelry - Tata Hexa Event Outfit

If you've been following my other blog, you may know that I was recently in Hyderabad to test drive the upcoming SUV Tata Hexa. Read more about the #HexaExperience here and about my stay at Novotel Hyderabad Airport here. 

It was 2 day event and on the evening of Day 1, was the party, with talks, stand up comedy, food and cocktails! The weather was perfect with a cool breeze and the temparature dipping to about 20 C. When it was social event, and the weather is so good, the outfit has to be impeccable. So here's what I wore. I just had my shawl handy just in case it gets too cold, but I never got to use it!

Necklace: Handpainted by an artisan from Kerala
Earrings: Handmade by an artisan from Haryana
Bangles: Thrifted from a Flea Market in Chennai

My mom gifted me this necklace. It was handpainted by an artisan who originally paints the traditional Kerala Murals. My mom thinks this HariHara (half Shiva & half Vishnu) while I think its Ardhanari (half Shiva & half Shakthi). What do you think, the painting depicts?

When its such social events, one of 2 things usually happens. One,  there's an official photographer at the event who takes fantastic shots. Two, the unfortunate situation when you don't get good photographs at all!!! Rarely the 3rd scenario happens - another person who's attending the event, just like you, has a very good hand in camera! That happened in this event. All the pics in this are taken by fellow bloggers! The first 4 shots are by Shrinidhi and the next 4 are by Karthik.

    Dress is very nice and chic in its simplicity. I am sure the salmon pink looks better in real life. Not too fond of the red headpiece though, but that is just me.

    Hey there, I just loved the way you dress and carry yourself. I think you can have a better option for your bangles !
    Necklace is just fantastic, and I think it is Ardhnarishwar pendant. Just loved it.
