Casual Date Style - Handloom Palazzo & Crochet Cardigan

Some time back I laid my hands on this beautiful, rustic, handloom fabric and I wanted to make culotte pants out of it. I made it with pleats at the waist, with very basic smock detailing at the hemline. So, how is it???

This is the smock detail at the hemline!

Btw, like the printed top? Well, it was a rice sack! I loved the Lord Shiva print on it so much and I converted it into a sleeveless top!!! Lolz!

Top: Bhushavali [made of rice sack!]
Crochet Cardigan: Handmade by an artisan of Andhra Pradesh
Culotte Pants: Bhushavali [made of Handloom fabric]
Gladiator shoes: From a Flea Market in Bangalore
Earrings: c/o Sayuri
Beaded Bangle: Handmade by an artisan of Haryana

  16. ciao,

I'm laughing so much ...I didn't know you can get a top from rice sack ! I think my daughter would be crazy in following me when I search them in the shops ....I bought four shoppers from rice sacks during my last stay in India ...I love them so much, and when I go to the market here in Italy someone stops me to ask where the shoppers come from .....
Yes I,ve started on Pinterest ....
