Semi Formal Look - Jute & Hemp Handmade Bags

Geek Chic / Nerdy Chic Look
Since the past few years, I've been wearing glasses, but only when I sit in front of the comp. They've always been slim, elegant, rimless or semi-rimless glasses. Anyways, I was always intrigued by the geek look with huge, thick frames, but somehow never brought myself to try it. But then, recently I spotted these geeky, nerdy, 'Hello Kitty' black glasses and it was mine the next instant. So here's how I styled it!









Top: Bhushavali [with Natural Dyed Hand Block Printed fabric]
Skirt: Bhushavali [with Natural dyed Khadi (Handspun Handloom) fabric]
Those aamri (mango) appliques are Natural Dyed Handblock printed fabrics
Hello Kitty Black Eye Glasses: c/o Born Pretty Store

So like the look? Isn't that frame adorable???!!!! That little red bow makes it all the more adorable, doesn't it??? It has a cute whisker detail on the sides to add to the cuteness! Sadly, the plastic is breakable and I handle things roughly and so it broke! But I've managed to stick it and its ok now... Anyways, as you know, as always, my dearest readers always get an awesome 10% off at Born Pretty store with the code EML91. The instant I wore those glasses, I knew I had to wear my hair as double pony tail! Looking into the mirror I decided on School girl look???? So I wore my skirt and pulled out these bags. Both of these are dear and near to me both from Indie Bazaar! As the name goes, its Indie and its a Bazaar, only thing is its, online! Its a store where you get all the kitschy, ethnic, colorful and very Indian stuff.  
The back pack is made of jute. I'm sure you know what's jute. Its a draw string bag with a little print of sun on it. The fabric is thick and its very sturdy and the inside seams are finished so well that it doesn't fray inside! But then, since the fabric is thick, the draw string doesn't pull completely! And Rope Intl. has promised me to look into it. But otherwise, its awesome. Its pretty much spacious too. 
The other one is a sling bag made of hemp. Hemp is a fiber similar to cotton and jute, but softer than jute, tougher than cotton. This is a cute patch-worked bag with flap with a single main compartment and a zippered section in the front. Would have been perfect if the main compartment too was zippered.
