Diwali Outfit - Tie & Dye Half Saree

Here's version 3...


Skirt: Same as in Version 1 of Diwali outfit
Blouse: Bhushavali [made of Khadi (Handspun Handloom) fabric
Dhavani: Chennai Silks

Unlike first 2 versions, here in version 3, I've traditionalized the outfit wearing it with traditional Indian blouse (cropped top) and dhavani (the wrap). 
I made this blouse with Khadi fabric and its embroidered with sequins on the back neck, back hemline and sleeves! The Dhavani (wrap) is hand crafted with Bandhani work. Bandhani is a traditional craft of Gujarat and Tamil Nadu in India. This piece is tie dyed and then dip dyed in 3 different colors and has golden checks all over to add the festive look. Its one of my favourite shawls and here I've worn it as a Dhavani!!!
