Fashion & Fitness - Yoga
Well, for those who don't know, Yoga, is the an age old Indian art or rather, a way of life! It has been existing and been practiced by ancient Indians since time immemorial. It was later on put into words by Sage Patanjali. It has 8 sections in it called Ashtanga Yoga. The first 2 of it are more about morality, habits, self control etc. The 3rd & 4th are Asana (Control of Posture) and Pranayama (Control of Breathing). Its these 2 which have attained a huge popularity worldwide of late!!!
I have been practicing Asana since my childhood, but sadly stopped almost a decade ago... However, since the past couple of months I've restored practice, but yeah, I've lost the flexibility that I had long back. Hope I don't stop my practice here on... Let's see!!!
Well, coming back to the 2 things, I said about, in the first sentence, I thought, why not make a blogpost on Asana-s??!!! So here it is... Btw, do not attempt these postures without proper guidance...

As I said earlier, yoga is a way of life which says right from eating habits, morals, to fitness, to breathing exercises, till meditation and finally being one with the Universe!!! Its a way to lead a healthy life!!! Why wait till your body gives you warning signs of bad health with obesity, irregular periods or PCOD??? Why not keep them at bay with a healthy lifestyle???!!!
