What I wore for CBC Meet - Hakoba Kurta

I've said about CBC already in this blog here. CBC is Chennai Bloggers Club. And for those who don't know Chennai, its the capital city of the southern most state of India, Tamil Nadu. Earlier called Madraspatnam and then called Madras during the British Raj and now is called Chennai!
This city has quite a lot of bloggers and small bunch of us thought of meeting up to catch up on blogging and other things, over some pizza and salad! And here's what I wore for the meet up...



Remember I told about a beautiful eyelet fabric I got and made a LWD with it in my last post. Well, along with it, I also got this brownish grey colored fabric with a much complex eyelet pattern which was almost like lace! So I made this kurta out of that fabric. And with an absolute college project mentality, I decided to include pin tucks and gathers along with the eyelet fabric in an asymmetric design!!!

Btw, the above shot of my footwear was clicked by a very skilled, pro photographer, blogger friend, Vinod! I totally love it!!! His eye for detail is excellent. If you're in or around Chennai, make sure you utilize his services!!!

    The skin coloured top was a delight that also highlighted the colour of your skin tone.
