London Fashion Week 2016 - Accessories at Scoop London

Scoop London is by Scoop International Fashion Shows during London Fashion Week. It a tradeshow (B2B exhibition) that provides a platform for many upcoming designers and brands to open up and spread their network in London, supported by British Fashion Council. So, here are some of the brands that caught my attention at Scoop and I'm segregating the posts according to products, beginning with 'Accessories' except Shoes!!!

The first brand that blew my mind was Vera Givel, which is also the name of the designer. She's from Milan, Italy and she makes handbags. The specialty - she paints each and every one of them all by herself. So obviously there's no mass production; she makes few and those few are unique and special. Regular readers do know that I dig into anything that's handmade. Some are also enhanced with some crystals and embroidery.
The next one that I was totally attracted to was called Brand Native! Brand Native is by Claudia Correa Bell. They're into handmade bags made by artisans from Guajira, Columbia. They are handcrafted by the indigenous Wayuu community there and it takes 2-4 weeks to complete each bag which is made of cotton.

A brand that actually made me think of Indian crafts was Buba and guess what, they manufacture the products in New Delhi! Buba makes handbags and few accessories which are all exquisitely hand embroidered with zardozi work - sequins, beads and metals hand embroidered on leather.
Regular readers also know that I love big watches and when I saw these chunky beauties by Newgate, I couldn't stop drooling.
Claudia Meller is a young lady who makes beautiful printed scarves and Village is a brand of stunning bags. Those leopard print tote bags and matching envelope clutches are to die for.

Jocasi London is a brand by Victoria Weir who makes extremely lightweight leather & snake skin bags. The lining she gives is non leather to keep the weight as low as possible. Gala Gloves makes adorable gloves in so many more techniques - laser cut, lace, hand embroidery, ribbon work, mix of leather and chunky knits etc.
More accessories, shoes, clothes and much more coming up soon. Stay tuned!!

  6. The watches look great -- very classic and vintage. I don't know if my wife will like the bags in the photos. Shed like to handle them first personally before deciding.

  17. Nice collection, not exactly my kind of fashion, but definitely individualistic. I am still not exactly a fan of real skin as I find it quite cruel~
