After Jasper Garvida, here comes Rejina Pyo at London Fashion Week. Rejina Pyo's collection was all about minimalism, elegance, feminity and color blocking!
Her range of fabrics move from transparent crepe to sturdy cottons to heavyweight twills to metallic faux leather!!! With very simple cuts they were all in comfortable, oversized silhouettes. Stark metallic button detailing were as accents!!! The buttons were also used for decorative purposes and not just functional.
What I totally loved about this collection is - in the first look it looks very colorful. However when you look at each garment, its a beautiful muted, neutral color combo with just a single, bold, accent color! The mix of metallic and matte of same color in an outfit, a mix of sheer and heavy fabrics of same color in an outfit made them interesting! A few simple printed pieces also made into the collection with graphic & geometric motifs and bold colors!
The complementing shoes from Korean brand Yuul Yie and British Jewelry brand Uribe were prefect accents to the awesome collection! Beside me is the lady of the afternoon, Rejina Pyo herself. Btw, what am I wearing? Coming back soon with the outfit post. Wait n watch!!!

ReplyDeleteOnly the second and third models wear clothes which may reasonably seen on the street. The rest are too highbrown, I think. The hair of the first model looks like that of Harry Styles!
