Festive Look - Statement Jewellery and Bold Eyes
First things first, it was pouring cats and dogs outside! So my idea of wearing long skirt went out the window!!! And with Easter, some of the train lines were suspended, so I had to either walk half an hour or change to a bus to reach the venue from a railway station. I decided to wear jeans which I felt was the easiest thing to handle, in this situation. But the advantage, though it was raining, it wasn't too cold and I could wear the n*de patent wedges which was lying in the closet for all this time.
Top: Bhushavali
Jeans: Romwe
N*de Patent Pumps: Globus
Earrings: Handmade by the artisans of Madhya Pradesh
Eyeshadow: Costal Scents 252 Ultimate Palette
I wore this top made of Khadi (handspun handloom) with hand embroidery of a glittery peacock on it. To match the design I chose this peacock shaped Jhumka and to match the colors I chose golden and green for my eyeshadows! Btw, in the blogpost on the show, I told you about the customized bouquets by Bloom Room. Here's my favourite one, comprised mostly of ferns than flowers or leaves!!! It stayed fresh in my living room flower vase for more than a week...
Isn't the best part of any event like this is meeting like minded people, esp other gorgeous bloggers? Here with me are Ana of Faded Spring, Natalie of Up Your Vlog and Madame High St. All pics (except my eye & earrings closeup) were shot by the very talented young lady, Jumanna Khanom.
