Lucky Sixpence Vintage Bridal Show

After London Fashion Week, here's a gorgeous Bridal show by Lucky Six Pence! The brand specializes in vintage bridal wear both apparel and accessories incl veil, wreath etc. On Easter day, Lucky Sixpence organized this fabulous, no-ramp fashion show!

I really loved the casual, way the models walked among us, sat with us, had a drink and bite with us instead of a very fast walking ramp show styled event. Complete with retro styled sofa, tea cups & saucers the entire setting was vintage!

The unique feature of this show was the exotic 7ft long Boa Constrictor called Zebedee. It was really heavy and the models indeed had a great (a bit scary too) time with him!
Remember my post on Kassandra's Jewelry launch? The jewelry partner of Lucky Sixpence was the same Kassandra Lauren Gordon and the footwear were by House of Spring.

And what's a Bridal gown show without the gorgeous floral bouquets!!! The floral arrangements on the tables and the bouquets were by Bloom Room, who made them not only with just flowers, but also ferns, leafs, dried flowers and a lot more! Wait for my post on what I wore to the event to know what was my favourite bouquet of them all!
The pouring rain outside and the laid back casual event inside The Hive, with Elderflower flavoured Gin by Wild Drinks and super yummy vegan bites by Feast Food was just perfect.
And as always, the best part of events like these is meeting like minded people.

  2. Those are very unique bridal gowns, very detailed designs as well. I would totally be scared if I had to model with a boa constrictor as well! That's so terrifying!

  8. I'm surprised by how this bridal show is held in a pretty simple place. I thought it will be grand... But it being vintage might be the very reason why. I like the 3rd yellow dress most... Don't really think the boa was necessary but it did make the show unique, I guess.

  9. Sorry I did not like the combination of boa constrictor with weddings. What idea were they planning to push with this crazy idea? That marriage is constricting?

  11. There were some beautiful dresses there and it sounds like you had a great time. I'm not in the market for a wedding dress having been married for almost 11 years, but if I was there were a few I'd consider.

  12. The vintage collection on display were fabulous. I love it aside from the boa, which was a way of adding a fresh feel to the show - less necessary tho! Everything else was indeed grand!!

  14. My gosh! The snake is too scary to handle during pictorial. Well, anyway, they give their nice post it doesn't matter, all are beautiful and perfect shots.

  15. I really salute the models who had to pose with the boa constrictors and yet look so calm and pretty! The gowns are so beautiful yet I bet they are not easy to pose in too... Not a walk in the park being a bridal model or any model for that matter.
