Travel Style - Midi Skirt & Unisex Bag

Spring has officially started and the climate is great. Finally I'm able to rock shorter length outfits without wearing stockings. Recently I went on a trip to a the coastal side of England and chose to wear a nice flouncy midi.
Quite often, I've shopped in men's wear for eg, here. After ages, I shopped in kids' section. Remember this? The largest size (13-14 yrs) in kids section usually fits me!! I was looking for a simple red tee to wear with this skirt. I was looking at the women's wear section at the prices begun at £12. Then I just moved over after to the kidswear section. Last time I did that was almost a decade back. And there I found this tee that said, 'Beyond Awesome'. It was neither too childish, nor too tacky, and the best part, it was priced at £3!!! Do you shop in kids section???
Top: Asda George
Skirt: Bhushavali
Shoes: Asda George
Bag: c/o Bombata
Hairband: Irresistible Me
Jacket: Rose Wholesale
The bag is by a brand called Bombata. I found this brand recently at an exhibition and totally loved the bright colors they have. They have 3 textures with one being is awesome snake skin. The colors are plain crazy with bright daffodil yellow, pleasing teal blue, bright green, forest green, blood red, electric blue and many more. I got this one is a lively bright red. Best part, ofcourse, none of it is leather. Its all faux leather!!!
I had originally paired this outfits with red heels but unfortunately, where I went that day, I had to do a bit of trekking and a lot of walking. Luckily a gentleman of the tours informed me that it isn't possible for me to walk in that heels all day long. At the nick of the time, I went to the local supermarket and bought these canvas shoes. I know it looks a bit wierd all together, but then, what do you say??!!!
Btw, my guy, just wouldn't want his face on my blog.... There are a few long shots of him in My Travelogue and just one post about men's shoes featuring him. Finally in this post, I convinced him to pose for me. I loved how everything including the sky was grey that day and there was a streak of red on his shoes. I wanted him to pose with the red bag to complete the picture and after quite a bit of cajoling, he did!!!

  2. Yes, it's very cool outfit and the color too! A combination of outfit really depends on the wearer's personality. In fact, professional models have done so much to practice their craft.

  3. It is hard to find midi skirts in my town. I see mostly skater skirts. Oh, I like pairing dresses with sneakers for that casual everyday look.

  5. The outfit is absolutely perfect for a date! It's okay to wear it with red heels if you're going out at night. The sneakers do the outfit justice anyway.

  7. Nice skirt, though the t-shirt did not seem to match it too well (my opinion only). Hope to see more men's fashion here. That bag looked very good with your husband.
