Travel Style - Multicolor Splash Print LBD

As the temperatures are going up, there are sudden spells of rain every now & then. Since the jacket teams up also as a rain coat (also, since it gets chilly on a rainy evening), still the coat seems to be a companion, esp in long distance travels. The umbrella is a definite companion.

Its the same dress that I wore to Stonehenge, but with this change in climate, I decided to wear it without layering. I'm kinda having a crew-cut pixie cut now which is comfortable when humidity gets higher!
Dress: Thrifted from a Flea Market in Bangalore
Stockings & Shoes: George. Asda
Necklace: Romwe
Earrings: Handmade by an artisan from Karnataka
Hairband: Irresistible Me
Though it most definitely pains when I try to visit a place and its rains on the day of visit, sometimes, rarely, its a blessing in disguise. Here's an instance - In a normal day it is never ever even slightly free to take a pic without atleast 20 strangers near the human sized 'IAmsterdam' letters in Amsterdam. It is possible though if the visit happens very early in the morning. For the timing I went it was filled with so so so many people. And just then it started pouring out and everyone ran to shelters!!! Blessing in disguise, I got my shot solo (well, almost)!!!
Those colorful buildings with facades, those canals, those cycles and those colorful trams are what that makes Amsterdam, Amsterdam!!! Coming back soon on My Travelogue with my Amsterdam stories. Stay tuned!

  11. Just curious, who takes your shots? Your dress looks colorful and it's great that you can have less pieces of clothing. The wonders you can do with layering!
