Selfie OOTD? V5 might help!
Very recently, I saw this ad of Vivo V5 featuring Ranveer Singh. Well, I didn’t care for a new phone but I was attracted to the ad, just coz I saw Ranveer in it, lolz! But then, I was more attracted when I realized it has 20MP selfie camera! It is the first ever 20 Megapixel front camera phone for a good moonlight selfie.'
With SONY IMX376 image sensor and moon light flash, Vivo V5 promises an excellent clarity and soft muted lighting that prevents these weird violet tones as well as good clarity in night selfie without giving out a harsh, bright flash. Also there is the inbuilt face recognition and beauty mode which helps in providing nicer final results.
It is a rather interesting phone with an only 13MP as rear camera, but a whooping 20MP as selfie camera. A good selfie stick, that will help me get a good all-over view of my location and the clarity of this phone would prove to be one of the best things for any solo traveler! There have been a couple of posts in this blog, where I managed to do an OOTD post with selfies or mirror selfie!!! Imagine how perfect those would turn out with a 20MP camera clarity? Hoping to lay my hands on this phone to feel its awesomeness, myself! Let’s see!

ReplyDeleteOh this phone is definitely made for selfies. It's a great idea because millions are into selfie. This would be a hit.
ReplyDelete20 MP for a front camera is impressive. The resolution is also superb based on your photos.
ReplyDeleteThis looks really interesting...Didn't know about V5. Selfie disasters? so true, even I have gone through many...
ReplyDeleteI am not really a selfie taker. I don't think I had ever posted a selfie of mine because they end up unflattering. Haha! I think you are an expert selfie taker already.
ReplyDeleteWe also have vivo now in the Philippines and 20mp front cam is wow
ReplyDeleteInteresting... I'm on iPhone and had been watching a lot of Vivo sponsored variety show in China. I definitely wonder if the camera is really that good!
ReplyDeleteI like that selfie ootd too. Usually I take from the gym mirror.
ReplyDeleteAwesome pics you gat here, i really love this photos... thanks for sharing anyway
ReplyDeleteA lot of brands are popping up these days and Vivo is one of it. I have seen it the first time when I bumped to one of the malls in the city. I am not sure about the brand not until when I saw first it on facebook then followed by a blog post about certain bloggers and this came. Sure it is an interesting phone. I'd love to try it soon.
ReplyDeleteI will consider this one while buying my next phone. Thanks
ReplyDeleteIt's nice to see that you've travelled to so many places! #Goals!

Hi, I understand the USP behind creating a camera with 20MP selfie camera and i also understand your attraction to it, but being a photographer i would just like to point out that MP - Megapixel is just a measure of size, like centimeter or inches. Higher the MP means larger the size of the photo which is really useful only when you plan to get huge prints - like hoardings. Most of us dont really print huge hoardings so 5MP camera can give same output as 20MP camera given rest of the parameters are same.
ReplyDeleteThe real characteristics of a good camera would involve other specifications like its sensor quality, its F number etc. which companies dont market as it is little technical. V5 may have good camera as such but just thought clarifying this marketing gimmick by phone companies would help you.
Great selfie you have there.. Nice v5 to help out.. Nice nice nice
ReplyDeleteThe phones camera are getting better and better, and even more the front ones now with the selfies. Let's just be careful about the race of the Mpx. That's not only what makes a good picture and at some point, too much becomes useless. But you have nice pictures there, you visited loads of places and the "monuments selfies" are kinda cool!
