I've already reviewed a couple of The Nature's Co products on my blog! Its one of those brands that's all herbal, not tested on animals and PETA approved. So I'd like blindly purchase them without a worry!
First of all, its a horrible summer right now in Chennai - so, 1. watermelons are like life saviors, 2. I have to wash my face atleast thrice a day to feel normal! And then as fate would intervene, The Nature's Co introduced the Watermelon Facewash!! I've been using this for about a month now and am loving it!
To begin with, it doesn't break out the skin. As you may know by now, I have a super sensitive skin which easily breaks out! I've been using this for a month and my skin hasn't reacted adversely. It lathers really well and removes all dust & dirt. My waterproof eyeliner also gets wiped away with this - which is a great plus point.
The the aroma is great! Its not exactly the real watermelon aroma, but reminds me a bit of those watermelon flavoured bubblegum, but definitely not too strong and not in a negative way. Its just nice! It says that its meant for all skin types. It strips off the oil to some extent though not so much that it feels dry. But I guess it won't so suitable for dry skinned people.
Its a bit too watery and it took a couple days for me to handle it correctly so I dispensed only the needed amount onto my palm. The pack is huge at 175ml and its not really travel friendly. But with that quantity I've hardly finished off one fourth after a month's usage!!!

ReplyDeleteIt is rare to have watermelon in cosmetics and skincare line. I could imagine the freshness of it!
