Travel Style - Wrap Top & Statement Necklace

Brussels has quite a few interesting markets of which 3 are near the Midi area - Midi Market, Marolles Market and Clamenceau Market. My mom recently ventured out to the Marolles Flea Market and when she spotted this stunning necklace she couldn't resist! 

Top: From an NGO that serves Tsunami affected women
Red Jeggings: Primark

Necklace: Thrifted from Marolles flea market, Brussels
Earrings: Handmade by a tribal artisan from Tamil Nadu (same as worn here)

When she got it home, I was so impressed by it and wanted to take a shoot with it! Obviously I wanted the necklace to be the hero of the entire outfit, so I chose a very simple & plain top to go with it. As usual my primary concern currently is only on outfits that would help with nursing. So yeah, I got this top with me when I moved here from India.

To pair with the vermillion color of the necklace, I didn't have any outfit or jewelry or accessory of the same color at all, and neither did I have anything in antique, oxidised silver in my present vanity case. I hardly got any jewelry with me when I moved. Anyways, I had this crimson colored earrings and red jeggings. Minor shade variation from the necklace, but I think they go well with each other. What do you say?

    I love your necklace! It's beautiful paired with the earrings. I love wrap around tops and dresses, too. I became extra fond of them when I became a breastfeeding mom. They make breastfeeding easier.
