AttisUK Soaps & Body Butters - A Review

I love cupcakes. Period. See??? Isn't this yummy??? But the only factor is that it isn't edible. No, its not bath bomb either. Its a.................. wait for it...................... it's a........ soap!!!!
This is from a brand called Attis and the products are manufactured by a lovely lady from Chertsey near London. This particular range of her products is called cupcake soaps. This is a range of handmade vegan soaps made of cocoa and shea butter with the oils of coconut, palm, hemp, castor with sugar & aloe vera gel. Colors (artificial) and fragrance oils & a hint of glitter is added to make the soap so gorgeous! There are some which look too pretty with double colored swirl atop.
The ones here are scented with Lavender & Sandalwood, Lemon and Rose. I was worried that the soaps would come apart, the base & the swirl atop, but to my surprise it didn't. I've been using the soap for about a week now and I love it. the first few applications its a bit weird with the glitter transferring to the skin. But once all the glitter withers off, the soap is perfect. The shape is cute and handy, perfect to hold. Thanks to the so many oils & butters in the soap, it just doesn't dry out the skin. It doesn't lather much. These weigh about 80-90gm and are priced at about £5 each.
She also produces some body butters and I got to try out Wintergreen with Aloe Vera, Avacado with Vetiver, Baobab with Patchouli & Lavender. The aroma of wintergreen is slightly stronger than the others. I've always been a fan of those grass-y aromas like wintergreen, lemon grass etc, so my favourite of these was Wintergreen. The Avocado with Vetiver is also my favourite, coz the main aroma in it is of Vetiver, which is an amazing herb that I usually mix in my homemade coconut oil I use on my hair. Baobab with Patchouli & Lavender has a milder aroma that hardly used for a day after which my guy looted it from me, coz he totally liked it!!!
Shea Butter, Cocoa Butter and organic Coconut Oil are basic ingredients in all body butters and are enhanced with various essential oils, gels, powders & extracts depending on the frangrance. Thanks to so many butters and oils, it nourishes the skin so well. Its a heavy butter, making scooping out of the tub and blending a bit difficult. But once done, its worth it! These are 10ml tubs and they're also available as 100ml tubs, priced at about £5 & £15.

P.S: The product was gifted by the company for reviewing purpose, however the opinions are of my own experience and are this post does not to advertise the product. They can be bought online at Ebay.

  2. I thought that it was a cupcake to eat that is included as a complimentary for the product. But the product was the soap that was shaped like cupcake. Very creative product.

  4. It really looks like real cupcakes. What an idea to sell soap! But we should keep it out of reach of young children. It looks good enough to eat the way it looks in the picture.

  12. I would have said the cupcakes were tasty but it's soap. It does looks cool to have cupcake shaped soap at home just keep them away from curious kids.

  16. What an idea - to make a soap in shape of a cupcake! But I have to admit that they look interesting and, beyond the looks, what matters the most is the quality of the product. Actually, why would a cupcake shaped soap be evaluated differently than that in a rose shape - for instance. Though, of course, we have to be careful and not eat it - or children in the house :P
