Travel Style - Sweater, Jeans & Boots!

Back to basics!!! A good old basic off white turtle neck sweater, a well fitted jean and brown boots made my outfit when I visited Dover recently. More about Dover with its splendid castle and picturesque beaches coming soon on My Travelogue

I told this already on my blog, in my Wedding Gown post. I prefer off white and creme to bleached white. You see, I have a wheatish brown skin tone and on it, bleached white looks like a stark contrast, while off white or cream blends beautifully, which is why even for my wedding gown I opted for off white.
I don't even remember when or where I bought this sweater. Its old! Its really old! Why I bought this? Well, I did fancy some gorgeous winter wear even though in my part of the world its always hot!!! However now currently in London, the temperature is absolutely perfect to wear those winter wear that I bought, over time!
Sweater: I forgot where I got it!
Jeans: Romwe
Reflective Sunglasses: Romwe
Combat Boots: Sammy Dress

Spring has started now but it isn't very warm. Still, I need atleast a sweater. So I opted for a basic look with neutral colors. Its the same jeans with lace up detail that I'm wearing hereThough its slightly cold, sun has started to show its fierceness and I do need the sunglasses. The earrings are from Kassandra Lauren Gordon who makes these gorgeous fine jewelry (remember my post on her jewelry launch?). This stud has 2 different finishes of yellow gold and black rhodium on it which is why I totally love it!
Behind me is the White Cliffs of Dover in the prev pic and yes, I am sitting on the cliff precariously when I got this shot of my shoes over the beach deep down below!!!

  7. I absolutely love those boots! And yes, that's how I go about when I travel. Jeans, sweater/t-shirt, and comfortable shoes. Unless we count that one time where I spent a weekend traveling to a conference (and had only a carry on bag)... It was two pairs of 4 inch shoes for the weekend :D Yeah, that was interesting and so not doing it again. But I looked pretty at the event.

  15. It's also almost always hot in my side of the world as well, but don't you think winter/cold weather clothes are fab? Just look at you, you look great! :) I've got a couple of clothes that aren't for tropical weather as well, and I take advantage of stormy days to put them on, haha!

  16. The scenery you are at is so cool! It reminded me of the Korean drama (Descendants of the Sun) maybe because of the rocks etc

  17. It's a good thing you have old clothes you can still wear today, and still look fashionable! turtlenecks are a thing right now, so it's a great trend to go into.
