Introducing 'Atyudarini'!
Remember my Baby Shower - Valaikappu? Remember I told you that the bracelet I was wearing is a talisman that represented the womb? As I also mentioned then, that its supposed to be opened when the labour pain starts to represent the opening of womb i.e birthing... My mom did open it up as I went through 'that' incredible pain!!! Well, I had to photograph the open Valai with what it protected - my li'l gal!!!
As much as I'm against gender specific colors (yeah, I didn't buy anything pink for her except for this mat!), it turned out to be October for her which has Pink Tourmaline as the birth stone!!! Well, on this lovely occasion, Onecklace did send over a gift for me and my guy - 2 gorgeous name necklaces that showcased our names with our little one's name!!! One is punched and has colored crystals for our birthstones as well and the other is engraved & 3 toned. They've also provided a 10% off for my readers with the coupon code GIFT10.
Bracelet (Valai Kaapu): GRT Chennai
Family Birthstone Necklace: c/o Onecklace
Three toned engraved Mother Necklace: c/o Onecklace
Btw, remember this outfit post from my maternity series? Well, this is me sporting the floral print shirtdress with the bump and with the ringsling that's holding what the bump once held!!! More about the ring sling coming up soon in the next few posts. Stay tuned! :)

Congratulations!!! You and the baby both look adorable! Love the charm you got for her birth. Yay!!!
ReplyDeleteCongrats new mom. You both are blooming. Lovely name and charm
ReplyDeleteCongratulations, new mommy. I love the idea of the necklace. I can be quite sentimental, too, that owning that necklace isn't impossible. More than an accessory, it has such a beautiful meaning. I also admire how you carry the little one. I haven't tried any ring sling yet as it seems too complicated unlike a soft structured carrier. Nonetheless, I like the closeness babywearing does.
ReplyDeleteWow, Congratulations for being a mother now. I truly love how you prepare this for your baby. This is something that she can really be happy about when she's about to really know how to appreciate. Truly, it is something more than just an accessory, but a sign of love and happiness for having her. Thank you so much for sharing this with us.
ReplyDeleteCongratulations on the new member of your family! I love the necklace! I guess no matter how hard we try if something's meant to be it's meant to be! She just might grow up loving pink. I love pink!
ReplyDeleteCongrats... May she find happiness and love in every turn of her life.
ReplyDeleteCongratulations on your new bundle of joy! It truly is never-ending joy to finally hold your little one in your arm. Those lovely accessories make these moments even more special. I particularly love the necklace with your names engraved in it, jewelry with sentiments and I am sure it will be hit with mums who would love to carry a reminder of our children wherever we may be.
ReplyDeleteCongratulations to your beautiful and adorable baby girl. I really love the name of your baby and this necklace. By the way, enjoy your time with your baby, especially this Holiday.
