Whether to wipe her burps or to lay on the ground or wrap in case it gets a bit chilly, I use these blankets. I never use them for swaddling coz.......... I never swaddled Atyudarini. It somehow never happened! But then actually, traditionally, swaddling is not practiced in eastern countries. I did try once, but Atyu kicked me for doing that and I gave up. So yeah, we never swaddled our baby.
If you've been following me on Instagram or my other blog, My Travelogue, you'd know that I recently visited the magical, mystical Blue Forest of Halle and if you've been following this blog, you'll know what both Atyudarini and I wore when we went here. I took one of these blankets with the gorgeous blue print. This is a very fine mulmul fabric. The blue print was a beautiful combo with the blue bells and I had to click her photograph like this.
The other one is the one I reach to, often. Its a textile designer's delight - its a double layer fabric, which makes it so soft and pliable and a bit fluffy too!!! The one that I take out rarely, only on special occasions, when I'm going to special places is this Dohar Blanket. Its 3 fine layers of fabric stitched together with a bright contrast piping. A bold big printed fabric is sandwiched between 2 white fabrics. It looks so luxurious that I've reserved it for those special occasions! Yup, that's the one in the first pic.
P.S: The products were gifted by the brands for reviewing purpose, however the opinions are of my own experience and are this post does not to advertise the products.
