Irresistible Me Liquid Gold Shampoo & Conditioner - A Review

You've seen my hair accessories post. The brand Irresistible Me is more known for their wigs than hair accessories. And to care for their real hair wigs & hair extensions, they recommend, their Liquid Gold Argan Oil Shampoo & Conditioner. They also recommend the same for the hair on the scalp as well!!!
I've been in love with oils of late and I've been experimenting with them myself, mixing a few oils etc. More on that is coming up soon. Back here, as soon as I saw the name Argan Oil, I decided I should try this out too. Argan Oil is called Morocco's Liquid Gold. I've been using this for a bit more than a month. Here comes its review.
The shampoo has a gorgeous colorless gel-like consistency. That's love at first sight. It doesn't lather much but a 50p sized dollop was enough for my pixie cut hair to feel clean on the scalp. The smell is mild and pleasant.
The conditioner is white and its consistency is like any other conditioner and falls in folds. Again a 50p sized dollop is enough for my hair. The smell is pleasant but not as mild as the shampoo.
One issue I'm facing ever since I shifted here is coz of the cold, scalp gets scaly and develops dandruff. This shampoo conditioner do no do anything about it. The hair feels soft and looks smooth and my pixie cut looks bouncy which I totally love about this. But the scalp does not feel supple. Also I do not have split ends, so I cannot comment on that.
Both the shampoo & conditioner are packaged in a blue plastic bottle with a flip cap. They come is a generous 500ml container, that's like enough for quite a few months. Both are Cruelty Free on Animals which is good. The Argan Oil used in these 2 products is certified by EcoCert. The rest of the ingredients are regular shampoo / conditioner ingredients like Ammonium Lauryl Sulfate, Sodium Laureth Sulfate, Methyl Paraben etc.

P.S: The product was gifted by the company for reviewing purpose, however the opinions are of my own experience and are this post does not to advertise the product.

  1. I find that using the same brand of shampoo and conditioner works better than getting a great shampoo and conditioner with different brands. This is very nice, especially since it wasn't tested on animals. Thanks for the review!

  2. i'm using organic pure argan oil on my hair too! it's really very good for our manes! but for shampoos, i thought they always prefer to be sulfate and paraben free?

  3. This really covers a lot of your hair needs. This product can really give you healthier hair.

  4. Separate shampoo and conditioner seems too difficult for me. I'm more used to a combination product. I've never used a gold argan oil before and having few bubbles is not something I'm used to.

  5. I haven't heard about this product here but because it has argan oil, even if it does not lathers perfectly, I assume this can make any hair healthier.
