St.Kitts Herbery Rosemary & Bergamot Pouch - A Review
Regular readers would know I'm a sucker for all things Herbal! When I got to try this brand called St.Kitts Herbery I was more than happy to do that! The kit I tried has 3 products in it - Hair & Body Wash, Moisturizer & a Soap, all with Bergamot & Rosemary.
Bergamot is a variety of orange that's not edible. Its peel is however its been used widely for perfumes, skincare, cosmetics etc. The citrus-y aroma is really strong and awesome. However reading a bit more about it, kinda scares me. Its not a very friendly herb when used a bit more than necessary! Rosemary on the other hand is a soft aromatic herb. Its has aphrodisiac properties!!! Together they just smell heavenly...
The soap is a glycerin soap. Its a colorless clear soap making is so gorgeous to look at! It doesn't lather too much and that's ok. The skin feels clean and well moisturized as well. For a few years now, I've only been using glycerin soaps. They are very good and don't make the skin feel stretchy! Its a tiny little 15g soap bar, meant for guests.
The moisturizer is a white colored lotion again with the zingy aroma of bergamot & rosemary. Its white in color. Its not gel like or thick, its relatively thin in consistency. Its absorbs very well and the aroma lingers for a long time. The herbal aroma that you carry with you, is kinda so good!!!
The body wash is a transparent gel. The aroma here is very strong. On skin is the lather is pretty less, but slightly heavier on hair. Just like the soap, it leaves the skin soft and clean without feeling stretchy. All the products have a strong aroma and if you're not into it, this is not for you! Also, the products are not totally herbal, the main component is herbal and it has some preservatives etc.

Those are interesting products. I wonder how it smells. I'd love to try them!
ReplyDeleteI am not really a fan of the rosemary scent in food. So I do not think I will enjoy the scent of this set of cosmetics.

ReplyDeleteIt's nice that the bergamot and rosemary mesh well. This does have a fresh and refreshing scent.

ReplyDeleteSince I have migraine issues I can never use products with strong scents. The packaging looks sleek though.
ReplyDeleteInteresting products that seems worth a try. Although I didn't like the packaging of the hair products. Looks ordinary to me and sort of like a medicinal bottle.
