Travel Style - Golden Embroidery Top & Maxi Skirt

Alert! Cheesy pictures ahead!!!!
I think this is the funniest OOTD shoot I've ever done! These pictures are the cheesiest I've ever posed for... Errrrr... Mmmmm... Yeah, I visited Madame Tussauds here in London and here are the pics with all the celebrities... Well, I mean, the look-alike, life-size, wax figurines of the celebs...
Here are some pics of varying genre. That's the stunning George Clooney with an amazing nearness to his real self. Below are Elizabeth I & Mary Tudor, daughters of Henry VIII. I was pretty much impressed by this esp coz this was sculpted without any 3D reference. The only reference they must have had was Golbein's paintings!!! Below is the super adorable BB 8 Droid of Star Wars fame!

Top, Skirt & Earrings: Bhushavali
Headband: Irresistible Me
You've seen me wearing this top already here and the skirt here. I made that top out of the blouse bit of the saree I wore here. Just to make it more festive & glittery, I added some multicolor hand embroidery both in front & back with a large golden flower in the front. The maxi skirt is made of handloom ikat fabric with a glittery border detail.

  4. I think the number 1 photo...you have to hold at the lap of the celeb, but really, it's great because as if, it's real. Well, you experienced the most amazing posed of your life. Keep on experimenting in photography.

  6. Maxi dresses and skirts are all the rage, especially this summer. I can't deny how lovely they are though. That skirt stands out and it's really pretty!

  7. Nice!!! This reminds me of the Indian traditional costume but the mordern version of it. I like the color combination and the workmanship of the dress.

  9. I did one in Madam Tussaud Singapore too! But I didn't do a blogpost about it... just instagramming...I will usually wear a basic outfit so that I can fit in with majority of the figurines!
